APC Chieftain: Tinubu to Gather Skilled Team for Ministerial List

Former Benue All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial aspirant, Dr. Roseline Ada Chenge, expressed her confidence in President Bola Tinubu's ability to assemble a competent team to lead the country.

As an ambassador of Peace for UN-POLAC, Chenge praised Tinubu for his leadership qualities and his potential to transform the nation's challenges into opportunities. During an interview on the TVC morning breakfast show, she specifically commended Tinubu's appointment of George Akume as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

Chenge emphasized the high expectations Nigerians have for the current government, stating that the hope lies in Tinubu's ability to select highly skilled professionals and qualified technocrats for various ministries. She expressed confidence in his past track record of effective leadership and his knack for assembling capable individuals. Chenge emphasized the importance of competence in moving the country forward, noting that the ministers' performance significantly impacts the success or failure of any administration.

Regarding the inclusion of women in Tinubu's cabinet formation, Chenge expressed her expectations of at least a 25% representation, but she would be pleased if the number could be increased to 40%. She believed that Nigerian women would receive more opportunities under Tinubu's leadership due to his commitment to inclusivity.

Chenge concluded by highlighting that a government's performance and output over time would ultimately determine its success.
