"Senator Shehu Sani Alleges: El-Rufai to Instigate Conflict Between Tinubu and Shettima"

In a recent interview on Arise Television, Senator Shehu Sani, a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), made a prediction about the potential for tensions to arise between President Bola Tinubu and his vice, Kashim Shettima, due to the involvement of the former governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai.

Drawing a parallel with the past, Sani pointed out that during the administration of former president Olusegun Obasanjo, a similar face-off occurred between Obasanjo and his vice, Atiku Abubakar, and he attributed this discord to Nasir El-Rufai, who served as a minister at that time.

The former lawmaker expressed his concerns about El-Rufai's role in the present administration, describing him as a "serpent" that has been introduced into the government. He warned that El-Rufai could create chaos not only between the president and his cabinet but also among state governors.

Sani emphasized that history has shown El-Rufai's involvement in causing discord, and he believes this pattern might repeat itself. He cautioned President Tinubu to be vigilant and urged him to remove and replace any member of his cabinet who fails to meet expectations.

In conclusion, Senator Shehu Sani offered his thoughts on the potential risks associated with Nasir El-Rufai's presence in the government and advised the president to handle his cabinet carefully to avoid any internal conflicts.
