Governor Nwifuru Takes Action: 195 Doctors and Medical Personnel to be Recruited in Ebonyi State to Address Health Challenges



In a bid to address the healthcare challenges in Ebonyi State, Governor Francis Nwifuru has given his approval for the immediate recruitment of more than 195 medical directors, nurses, and other essential staff members across the state's 13 general hospitals.

The announcement was made by Governor Nwifuru through his Chief Press Secretary, Monday Uzor, in a statement released on Sunday in Abakaliki. According to the statement, the governor has sanctioned the recruitment of medical professionals for all 13 General Hospitals in Ebonyi State.

The recruitment process will encompass various positions, including 39 doctors, 39 nurses, 39 laboratory scientists, 39 pharmacists, and 39 health attendants. 

Governor Nwifuru has instructed the Head of Service and the Chairman of the Civil Service Commission to promptly initiate the recruitment process and hire qualified medical personnel to fill the existing vacancies.
