In the aftermath of the recent massacre in Zamfara State, former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, has placed the blame on former President Muhammadu Buhari while exonerating President Bola Tinubu from any responsibility.
Sani emphasized that the killings in Zamfara State should not be attributed to Tinubu's failure. Instead, he pointed out that it was a consequence of Buhari's administration, which failed to ensure the safety and security of the country despite significant defense spending.
Expressing his distress over the gruesome video footage of the massacre, Sani denounced the act and condemned the sharing of such evil images.
He further highlighted that the current state of insecurity should be considered as part of Buhari's legacy, contrary to his claims of leaving Nigeria safer than he found it.
Sani questioned the expectation of singing praises for the former president merely because his personal cattle herd did not experience an increase in numbers.
