Yusuf Oluwo, popularly known as Yusufkanbai or YKB, has disclosed that he was meant to be the driver of the car involved in a 2021 accident that left his colleague, Victony, wheelchair-bound for almost a year.
The Nigerian singer revealed this during a recent episode of the F&S Uncensored audiovisual podcast hosted by Feyikemi Akin-Bankole and Simi Badiru.
According to YKB, he was with Victony at a club just before the accident occurred, and he was supposed to be driving the car. However, he somehow didn't leave the club with them.
YKB also shared that the person who passed away in the accident was a close friend of his, making it the worst day of his life.
He expressed gratitude to God that Victony survived and went on to become successful in the music industry. YKB described Victony as his best friend in the music industry.
