Renowned Nigerian media personality, Yeni Kuti, has emphatically stated that she would never leave her husband, regardless of whether he engages in extramarital affairs with other women.
Yeni, who happens to be the eldest daughter of the legendary Fela Anikulapo Kuti, expressed her firm belief that she would not end her marriage due to a rivalry with another woman or her husband's infidelity.
She shared her perspective during a conversation with popular media personality, Chude Jideonwo.
Drawing inspiration from her family's history, Yeni highlighted that her father, Fela, had a total of 27 wives, yet her mother remained committed to their marriage.
This influential precedent established by her parents served as a significant motivation for Yeni to remain devoted to her husband, regardless of any challenges they may face.
In her own words, Yeni firmly asserted, "I won't leave my husband if he is cheating. That is me.
You can leave your own husband if he is cheating. That is you. Don't judge me, I'm not judging you. My father had 27 wives, and my mother didn't leave.
It's me that will now come and go because of one girl. It cannot happen."
