Man Utd Coach Ten Hag's Determination to Secure England World Cup Star

Manchester United's manager, Erik ten Hag, has a strong desire to acquire Tottenham Hotspur's striker, Harry Kane, in the upcoming summer transfer window. The Red Devils are planning an early move to secure the services of the renowned England World Cup star.

Ten Hag is in urgent need of a new striker for his team, and Kane has emerged as the top priority on his shortlist, which also includes Victor Osimhen from Napoli and Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta.

The Manchester United coach is resolute in his pursuit of Kane, as he believes the addition of the prolific forward can significantly elevate the club's chances of competing for the title.

According to reports from The Guardian, Kane, who will enter the final year of his contract with Tottenham this summer, has become an obsession for Ten Hag.

However, Manchester United is cautious about engaging in a protracted battle with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy over the player's transfer.

Having learned from the prolonged negotiations they faced last year while attempting to sign midfielder Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona, Manchester United aims for a smoother and quicker negotiation process this time around.

Their intention is to present a swift and enticing offer to Tottenham for Kane's services.

Nevertheless, the report also highlights Levy's determination to retain Kane, even if it means risking losing him on a free transfer next year if an agreement cannot be reached.
