Nigeria's Vice-President, Kashim Shettima, has commented on the recent victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the presidential election petition tribunal (PEPT), stating that they plan to see Atiku Abubakar "retired" to Kombina, where he can devote his time to farming activities, such as raising goats, layers, and broilers.
Shettima, the former governor of Borno, made it clear that Atiku's preferred destinations like Dubai will not be his final stop. He was quoted by The Cable as saying, "Our intention is not to send Atiku Abubakar into retirement in Dubai or Morocco. Instead, we will relocate him to Kombina, where he can engage in the farming of goats, broilers, and layers."
“We are not going to retire Atiku Abubakar to Dubai or Morocco. I will retire him to Kombina, I will buy him goats and broilers and layers so that he can spend his days rearing goats and broilers” - Shettima after Tribunal victory. #PEPTJudgement pic.twitter.com/mdS6cbirja
