Prominent traditional rulers in Ogun State received a visit from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who arrived separately to meet with them.
His first stop was at the palace of the Alake of Egba Land, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, located in Abeokuta, the state capital. Following that, the President made his way to Ijebu-Ode to meet with the Awujale of Ijebu Land.
President Tinubu's helicopter touched down precisely at 10:18 am at the Dipo Dina International Stadium in Ijebu Ode. Accompanying him were notable figures including the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu; Special Adviser on Special Duties, Communication and Strategy, Dele Alake; and the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila.
The President received a warm welcome from various dignitaries upon his arrival. Among those present were the former governor of the state, Olusegun Osoba, and the incumbent governor, Dapo Abiodun.
It is worth noting that President Tinubu's previous visit to Ogun State took place in January of this year during his presidential campaign trail. At that time, he visited all four paramount rulers in the state in his capacity as the presidential flag bearer for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
