"Enrique Iglesias, 48, Declares Music Retirement: 'It's a Done Deal'"

Enrique Iglesias, the 48-year-old renowned singer and songwriter, has officially announced his retirement from the music industry. The artist, famous for hits like "Hero," is currently on The Trilogy Tour alongside Ricky Martin and Pitbull, marking the culmination of his successful 30-year career in music.

Iglesias shared that his upcoming album, titled "Final (Vol. 2)," set to be released next year, will be his farewell project. The first single from the album, "Así Es La Vida," featuring Maria Beccera, was revealed in June. This decision follows his 2021 announcement that he would be releasing only two more albums, with the penultimate one, appropriately named "Final (Vol. 1)," released in September of the same year.

Speaking to fans through TODAY.com, Enrique expressed that the forthcoming album, slated for a February release, is completely finished. He disclosed, "I’ve been working on this album for quite a bunch of years. And for me, it was always like I said, my final album… this is it. I don’t think — no, I know, I won’t be doing any more albums." Iglesias plans to shoot one or two videos just before the second leg of the tour and launch the album.
