In the message published by KCNA, Kim stated, "Justice is certain to prevail, and the Russian people will continue to contribute to the glorious history of victory." He emphasized the need for "closer strategic cooperation" with Moscow, underlining his intention to hold hands firmly with the Russian president in alignment with the mutual aspirations of their respective nations to achieve the grand objective of building powerful countries.
North Korea has been actively seeking to strengthen its relationship with the Kremlin and has supported Russia following its invasion of Ukraine last year.
