Barau Elected Unopposed as Deputy Senate President

In an uncontested election, Senator Jilbrin Barau has secured the position of Deputy Senate President. 

The nomination was made by Senator Dave Umahi, with Senator Saliu Mustapha providing a second to the motion. 

With no opposing nominations, the Clerk to the National Assembly, Sani Tambuwal, officially declared Barau elected as Deputy Senate President.
