Tori Bowie, a three-time Olympic medalist and two-time world champion American sprinter, has passed away at the age of 32.
Bowie won silver in the 100 meters, bronze in the 200 meters, and gold in the 4x100m relay at the 2016 Rio Olympics. She also won gold in the 4x100m relay and the 100m at the London 2017 World Championships, and bronze in the 100m in Beijing 2015, among other accomplishments.
According to sources, Bowie was found dead on Tuesday in Florida and may have been suffering from severe depression. She was a successful model and had not competed since June 2022.
Bowie's death has shocked the athletics community, and tributes have poured in from fellow athletes, including Noah Lyles.
