Prince Andrew receives boos from the crowd as he arrives at Charles's coronation

Amidst the highly anticipated coronation of Prince Charles as the new King of England, Prince Andrew's arrival in traditional dress at Westminster Abbey was met with some boos from the crowd as he made his way up the Mall to witness his brother's coronation.

The disgraced royal remains a controversial figure due to allegations of sexual assault made against him by Virginia Roberts in 2019, which he has vehemently denied.

In February 2022, Prince Andrew settled the lawsuit, sparing him a potentially humiliating court battle.

While Prince Andrew's reception was expectedly negative, it was Prince Harry who appeared to be the black sheep of the royal family.

He dressed more casually than his fellow royals and sat many rows back from Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Meghan Markle, Harry's wife, stayed in California to celebrate their son's fourth birthday.
