Dr. Josef Onoh, the spokesman for the President-elect in the South East, has sharply criticized Daniel Bwala, the spokesperson for the Peoples Democratic Party's (PDP) presidential campaign.
Bwala had recently stated that only God knows which presidential candidate would be sworn in on May 29, referring to the upcoming inauguration.
Onoh's criticism follows the Supreme Court's dismissal of the PDP's application to prevent the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, from being inaugurated.
The PDP had alleged that Tinubu's Vice President nominee, Kashim Shettima, had a double nomination. However, the court deemed the petition lacking in merit and reprimanded the PDP for wasting the court's time.
In delivering the judgment, Justice Adamu Jauro imposed a fine of N2 million on the PDP for meddling in the internal affairs of the All Progressives Congress (APC), specifically regarding the party's primary elections and candidate nominations.
Taking aim at Bwala for his previous remarks, Onoh advised him to rely on his intellect rather than his words. Onoh sarcastically remarked that the answer Bwala had been waiting for from God had finally been given and suggested that Bwala should book a flight ticket to Dubai, where his supposed master awaits him.
Onoh further emphasized that Bwala and others should recognize that God operates on reason and is not swayed by emotions or falsehoods.
