President Buhari Asserts Remarkable Progress in Nigeria During His Eight-Year Presidency



President Muhammadu Buhari, during his farewell address in Abuja on Sunday, expressed his satisfaction with the progress made during his tenure and stated that he is leaving Nigeria in a better state than when he assumed office in 2015. 

As he prepares to hand over the presidency to his successor, Bola Tinubu, on Monday, Buhari confidently affirmed his belief in the country's improved condition in 2023.

In a previous event on Thursday, while bestowing national honors on President-elect Bola Tinubu and Vice President-elect Kashim Shettima, the outgoing president had also highlighted his sense of accomplishment and the completion of his responsibilities. 

On this occasion, he urged Nigerians to rally behind the incoming administration and sustain the achievements made thus far.

As he looks forward to retiring in his hometown of Daura in Katsina State, President Buhari expressed his contentment with initiating the Nigeria Re-Birth and emphasized his confidence in the incoming administration to accelerate the progress towards a prosperous and great nation.
