A pregnant woman, Eucheria Ndigwe, aged 30, is currently held in custody by the Lagos State Police Command after allegedly stabbing her teenage maid, Chinaze Aneme, in Lagos.
The incident came to light through a viral video recorded by a neighbor, prompting the arrest.
Benjamin Hundeyin, the State Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the arrest and stated that due to her pregnancy, Ndigwe has been transferred to the command's gender unit for medical attention while the investigation continues.
The victim, Chinaze Aneme, is also receiving medical care at the police hospital.
The neighbor in the video expressed shock and disapproval of the woman and her husband's actions.
