Joke Silva, a veteran Nollywood actress, has declared that she will not allow her home to be used as a movie location.
Speaking at a recent youth development forum called 'The Roundtable Lekki', Joke explained that while it has become trendy in the industry to use apartments as movie sets and locations, she is not comfortable with it.
She stated that she is aware of the number of people that are typically present during movie shoots and doesn't want her home to be subjected to that.
Joke urged the movie industry to follow in the footsteps of American filmmaker Tyler Perry and build sound stages and studios for movie production.
According to her, this will provide better control and allow filmmakers to make movies at their desired pace.
