BUA Cement Plc, the second-largest player in Nigeria's cement market, has revealed its plans to slash the price of cement to N3,500. This announcement, made in a press release on Sunday, October 1st, is set to take effect from Monday, October 2nd. Before this announcement, the prevailing cost of cement per bag was approximately N5,000.
Owned by the prominent billionaire entrepreneur, AbdulSamad Rabiu, BUA Cement boasts a collective installed capacity of 11 million metric tonnes per annum.
