"Lagos Police Identifies Auxiliary Nurse as Leading Suspect in Mohbad's Demise"

The Lagos State Police Command has officially announced that the untimely passing of Nigerian rapper, Ilerioluwa Aloba, widely known as Mohbad, can be attributed to the series of injections administered by an auxiliary nurse named Feyisayo Ogedemgbe on September 12, 2023. This revelation came during a press conference held by Commissioner of Police, CP Idowu Owohunwa, on Friday, October 6, at the State Command headquarters in Ikeja, Lagos.

CP Owohunwa confirmed that Mohbad displayed severe symptoms, including vomiting and goosebumps, after being injected thrice by Nurse Ogedemgbe. These findings were unveiled in the preliminary report of the investigation initiated to uncover the circumstances surrounding the rapper's tragic demise. The police commissioner revealed that 26 witnesses had been interviewed as of that day, including Mohbad's family members, close associates, and his wife. He also noted that Mohbad was brought to the hospital already deceased, and doctors on duty officially certified his death.

The events leading to Mohbad's demise revolved around an invitation extended to the nurse by the rapper's friend, Ayobami Sodiq, popularly known as Spending, to administer the injections at Mohbad's residence. It was established that these injections triggered the severe reactions that ultimately resulted in the rapper's tragic death. CP Owohunwa also underscored that concrete evidence provided to the investigative team confirmed that Mohbad had been a victim of bullying. The police affirmed the validity of the bullying allegations against Naira Marley, Mohbad's former label boss, and Sam Larry, a prominent show promoter, holding both individuals responsible for their actions.
