President Bola Tinubu is presently engaged in a meeting with former governors of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, and his counterpart from Rivers State, Nyesom Wike.
The former governors made their separate arrivals at the State House, with Nyesom Wike entering the presidential wing of Aso Rock around 1:40 p.m., followed by Nasir El-Rufai's arrival at approximately 2 p.m.
Both individuals have been nominated for ministerial positions and have undergone screening by the Senate. While Nyesom Wike's nomination has been successfully confirmed, Nasir El-Rufai's confirmation process has been temporarily halted due to an alleged security report.
