Aso Rock Welcomes Former First Lady Patience Jonathan, Hosted by First Lady Oluremi Tinubu

In a historic event on Wednesday, July 16, Nigeria bore witness as former First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, embarked on a significant visit to the current First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, at the presidential villa in Abuja. 

The purpose of this visit, as revealed in a social media post by Busola Kukoyi, an aide to Senator Tinubu, was to solidify her commitment and endorse the initiatives of the present First Lady and her husband's administration.

In her statement, Kukoyi conveyed that Dame Patience Jonathan, addressed as Her Excellency, extended a courtesy call to the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, who holds the title of Her Excellency as well as the distinction of being a CON. This visit, according to Kukoyi, served as an expression of solidarity, with Dame Patience Jonathan assuring Senator Oluremi Tinubu of her unwavering support.

Dame Patience Jonathan took the opportunity to reassure Nigerian women of her endorsement for Senator Oluremi Tinubu's endeavors.
