The All Progressives Congress (APC) has strongly refuted the claims made by the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
Atiku alleged that the APC is planning to exert pressure on the Judiciary in order to obtain a favorable ruling at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT).
In response to Atiku's claims, the APC categorically dismissed them as baseless and lacking any supporting evidence. According to the APC spokesman, Felix Morka, Atiku and the PDP are merely trying to find excuses to justify their anticipated failure at the tribunal.
Morka further emphasized that the APC has complete confidence in the judicial system and believes that justice will be dispensed in line with the Constitution and all applicable laws. The party maintains that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC convincingly won the election, and Atiku's allegations hold no merit.
In conclusion, the APC views Atiku Abubakar's statements as "arrant nonsense" and sees them as an attempt to deflect from the likelihood of a defeat in court. They maintain their stance that the electoral process was conducted fairly and that the judiciary will uphold justice impartially.
