President Bola Tinubu has successfully concluded his official visit to Paris, France, where he actively participated in the summit for 'A New Global Financing Pact' hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron. The Nigerian President's engagement at the event showcased his strong representation of the country.
During his time in Paris, President Tinubu also had the opportunity to hold important sideline meetings with fellow heads of state and government, influential global business leaders, and CEOs of renowned multilateral and development finance institutions from around the globe.
In a statement released by the presidential spokesman, Dele Alake, it was emphasized that the summit provided President Tinubu with a global platform to advocate for the expansion of fiscal space, economic justice for Africa amidst the world's energy transition acceleration, and the pressing need to address poverty and climate change.
Although President Tinubu was originally scheduled to return to Abuja on Saturday, he will now embark on a brief private visit to London, United Kingdom. However, he is expected to be back in the country in time to celebrate the upcoming Eid-el-Kabir festival.
