Renowned Nigerian afrobeats sensation, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has shared exciting news about his latest project—an extravagant mansion being constructed for himself and his wife, chef Chioma, in the upscale Eko Atlantic city of Lagos.
During his appearance on the latest edition of the Drink Champs podcast, co-hosted by N.O.R.E and DJ EFN, the music icon opened up about his passion for real estate and the significant investment potential it offers outside of the music industry.
Davido expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "Right now, real estate in Lagos is booming. Numerous impressive developments have been emerging. It's a highly lucrative investment, I must say."
He continued, "You can acquire a property for around $1.5 million and eventually sell it for approximately $4 million. I can assure you it's a remarkable investment. The house I'm currently constructing for my wife and me is situated by the serene beach of Eko Atlantic city. The location boasts stunning architecture and an abundance of splendid buildings. It's absolutely amazing."
It is worth noting that Davido's previous residence in Banana Island was recently listed for sale, following reports that he and his wife had relocated after the tragic incident involving their son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, who sadly drowned in a swimming pool on the premises.
