The latest installment of the popular 'Fast & Furious' franchise, 'Fast X', held a 'Road to Rome' premiere in the Italian city.
Actors Vin Diesel, John Cena, Michelle Rodriguez, Charlize Theron, Tyrese Gibson, Helen Mirren, and Rita Moreno were among the many stars who walked the red carpet at the Forum's Temple of Venus.
Some lucky viewers who got to see the movie described it as "stupidly entertaining" and a "visual spectacle", while others praised Jason Momoa's performance as the villain, but also acknowledged some "clunky elements" in the film.
The choice of Rome for the premiere was fitting as some of the movie's high-octane action scenes were shot in Rome and its surrounding areas.
The film's director, Louis Leterrier, revealed that all the action scenes filmed in Rome were real.
Vin Diesel expressed his enthusiasm about returning to Rome and walking in front of the Colosseum, something he never would have dreamed of 20 years ago.
