Moussa Diaby Finalizes £50m Transfer to Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia

Aston Villa has confirmed the departure of Moussa Diaby following his £50 million transfer to Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad. The 25-year-old French winger, who became Villa's record signing last year with a £52 million move from Bayer Leverkusen, has signed a five-year contract with the Saudi Pro League team.

Diaby is set to join his new teammates after completing a medical examination in Spain. During his time with Aston Villa, he made 54 appearances across all competitions, scored 10 goals, and provided nine assists.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Diaby stated, "I am thrilled to join Al-Ittihad and be part of a project that aims to build a strong team reflecting the club's rich history and values. I look forward to collaborating with my new teammates to achieve victories and bring joy to our dedicated fans."

Al-Ittihad's squad already features star players such as Karim Benzema, N'Golo Kante, and Fabinho, along with Houssem Aouar, who recently joined from Roma.
