This development follows allegations of domestic violence that surfaced in September, with an Instagram blogger claiming that Israel and his wife Sheila's marriage had fallen apart.

The blogger's report suggested that Sheila was involved in a romantic relationship with another man prior to her marriage to Israel DMW. It also claimed that Sheila's father had pressured her into marrying Israel due to his wealth and connections with Davido. However, issues surrounding Israel's true identity began to surface a few months after their wedding.

Israel responded to these rumors on his Instagram story, warning those who believed the marriage had ended that they were mistaken.

Confirming the end of their marriage, Sheila expressed her displeasure with Israel DMW on social media after he posted a photo from their traditional wedding and referred to her as his wife. In response, Sheila made it clear that, in reality, she is not his wife, stating, "In your dreams." Moreover, it is worth noting that the couple has also unfollowed each other on Instagram.
