Court of Appeal Nullifies Governor Dauda Lawal's Victory and Declares Zamfara Gubernatorial Election Inconclusive

On Thursday, November 16, the Abuja Court of Appeal declared the Zamfara State Governorship Election as inconclusive. The court's decision stipulated a re-run in three designated Local Government Areas: Maradun, Birnin-Magaji, and Bukyun. 

According to information from Channels TV, the court emphasized that the Zamfara State Election Petitions Tribunal did not adequately evaluate the evidence presented by the appellants. Furthermore, the court dismissed the results submitted by both the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for Maradun Local Government.
