Amidst the widespread concerns among Nigerians regarding the consequences of subsidy removal, the Federal Government (FG) has asserted that there are no intentions to decrease the number of working days for employees in the Federal Civil Service.
The government spokesperson clarified that such a step is unnecessary due to the ongoing efforts of the Tinubu-led administration to provide sustainable support for civil servants.
As part of these efforts, the Federal Government is implementing various measures, including the acquisition of mass transit buses that will operate on gas instead of diesel. Presently, the buses are undergoing a conversion process from diesel to gas-powered vehicles. This move is aimed at reducing transportation costs and promoting more eco-friendly alternatives for public transportation.
