Renowned singer Anthony Victor, widely known as Victony, has opened up about his recent surgery aimed at restoring his mobility. This comes after the artist narrowly escaped death in a car accident last year, which tragically claimed one life and left three others injured. Following the accident, Victony spent approximately a year confined to a wheelchair.
During a recent interview with reality star Tacha on Cool FM in Lagos, the resilient singer expressed his current state of well-being after successfully undergoing his most recent surgery. The talented artist, famous for his hit track 'Soweto,' joyfully shared, "I recently underwent my final surgical procedure in January. Thankfully, since then, I have been in excellent health, all thanks to God."
Victony also disclosed that his passion for music ignited during his early childhood. "I suppose it has always come naturally to me. Ever since I was a baby, my mother would play BlackStreet Boyz to soothe my cries," he revealed. "I cannot pinpoint the exact moment when I started pursuing music or when that inspiration struck me. I simply always had an innate love for music." The singer further expressed his intention to infuse elements of old-school music and fashion into modern Afrobeats, presenting a unique blend of styles for his fans to enjoy.
