Buhari Urges Incoming Government to Prioritize Economic Improvement in Relation to Dangote Refinery



President Muhammadu Buhari, who recently commissioned the Dangote refinery in Lagos State, has called on the incoming government to capitalize on the refinery's success. 

He expressed his confidence in his successor, Bola Tinubu, and emphasized the importance of maintaining the positive trajectory of the economy and business environment. 

Buhari commended the Chairman, Board of Directors, and management of Dangote Group for their significant contributions to both Nigeria's industrialization and the continent as a whole.

During the commissioning ceremony, President Buhari was warmly received by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and was accompanied by Aliko Dangote, the President/CEO of Dangote Group, alongside other notable dignitaries. 

The inauguration of the refinery on Monday is expected to be attended by five African presidents, including Gnassingbé Eyadéma of Togo, Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana, Macky Sall of Senegal, Mohamed Bazoum of Niger Republic, Mahamat Déby of Chad, and Paul Kagame of Rwanda.
