This development comes after the celebrated actor marked his 63rd birthday from his hospital bed, where he made a heartfelt plea to fellow Nigerians for assistance in covering his medical expenses.

Mr. Ibu, who was confronting a debilitating ailment that threatened his leg, initially sought the support of the public during his time of need.

In a recent update conveyed via his Instagram account, the comedic actor shared the news of his successful surgeries. He also revealed that he is presently in the process of recovery within the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and is awaiting stabilization to facilitate his transfer abroad for advanced medical treatment.

Mr. Ibu expressed his profound gratitude to the general public for their generous donations and emphasized that he relies on their prayers and unwavering support during this critical phase.
