President Bola Tinubu's nominations for ministerial positions have undergone screening in the Senate.
Out of the 48 nominations, 45 have been successfully confirmed as cabinet members. The confirmation was announced during the Senate session on Monday, August 7.
However, three nominees, namely former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, Stella Okotete (Delta State), and Abubakar Danladi (Taraba State), are still awaiting security clearance. The confirmation process involved a series of voice votes, with Senate President Godswill Akpabio overseeing the proceedings.
The confirmation of the ministers came more than a week after President Tinubu submitted a list of 28 nominees to the red chamber for approval on July 27.
