Senator Bola Tinubu, who is the President-elect, has congratulated Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State on his victory at the Supreme Court.
Tinubu, through his spokesperson Tunde Rahman, urged Adeleke to unite Osun and move quickly to do so. He also called on all to respect the judgment of the Supreme Court on the Osun Gubernatorial tussle.
In addition, he commended Adegboyega Oyetola, the immediate-past governor of Osun, for discharging himself creditably during his first term, stating that he did not lose his integrity and reputation as the governor who brought efficiency, transparency and accountability to the business of governance.
Tinubu congratulated Adeleke on his declaration as the winner of the Osun governorship election and noted that the matter of the July 16, 2022 Osun governorship election had been brought to a close.
